Utilizing the advanced and reliable ProCharger P-1SC-1 supercharger, which delivers 7 psi of boost, along with a highly efficient air-to-air intercooler and a dedicated 8-rib drive, a ProCharger system or tuner kit can boost the horsepower of a stock 5.0 Mustang by 165 or more when using high-quality pump gas. Considering Ford's conservative 412 hp rating for their new 5.0 4v engine, a ProCharger-equipped 5.0 Mustang can achieve over 600 flywheel horsepower.

Stage II System
In contrast to the HO System components, the new Stage II System and Tuner Kit feature a larger, front-mounted intercooler, a custom coolant tank, a specially designed radiator fan shroud assembly, and an upgraded air filter. Installing the Stage II components requires minor trimming of the stock lower front bumper cover (the factory engine cover remains unaltered). A 12-rib supercharger drive option is also available with the Stage II System or Tuner Kit.
The Intercooled Stage II Tuner Kit is essentially the same as the complete system but does not include fuel injectors or computer programming. For modified engines, higher boost and power levels can be achieved.
